At the beginning of March we held the 5th meeting with our partners in the South. We met online the project leaders in the countries where we are developing the 2024 GAM projects.

The aim was to find out how the projects, which are regularly monitored by GAM to ensure that their implementation is in line with the strategy and objectives of our association, as well as to confirm that the expected results are being achieved. So far, the seven 2024 projects are meeting their objectives. In June we will receive the interim report of the projects, which will contain more detailed information on their development and impact on the lives of our beneficiaries.

Our school sponsorship campaign in Cambodia is continuing with great success. So far, 21 children have been sponsored, which will guarantee their schooling in 2025. We hope to complete the total number of beneficiaries in the coming weeks.

​GAM 2024 project: organisation of courses and training sessions on organic and sustainable agriculture on an organic farm near Nairobi, Kenya. The training sessions are aimed at children from five schools in Nairobi, as well as women and young people from the Turkana and Samburu tribes who live a 10- hour drive from Nairobi.

​TAPAS Y ALEGRÍA 2024
On 15 and 16 March, the fourth edition of Tapas y Alegría was an event full of light and solidarity, in which the art of dance and good food were combined to raise funds to support the most vulnerable, through the projects of GAM asbl.

​Début mars, nous avons tenu la 5ème réunion avec nos partenaires du Sud. Nous avons fait une vidéoconférence avec les responsables des projets du GAM asbl dans les pays où nous développons les projets 2024.

​L'objectif était de savoir comment les projets avaient démarré. Ils sont régulièrement suivis par GAM pour s'assurer que leur mise en oeuvre est toujours conforme à la stratégie et aux objectifs de notre association, ainsi que de confirmer que les résultats escomptés sont atteints. Jusqu'à présent, les sept projets 2024 atteignent leurs objectifs. En juin, nous recevrons le rapport intermédiaire des projets, qui contiendra des informations plus détaillées sur leur développement et leur impact sur la vie de nos bénéficiaires.

Notre campagne de parrainage scolaire au Cambodge poursuit avec grand succès. Jusqu'à présent, 21 enfants ont été parrainés, ce qui garantira leur scolarisation en 2025. Nous espérons compléter le nombre total de bénéficiaires dans les prochaines semaines.

Les sessions de formation s'adressent aux enfants de cinq écoles de Nairobi, ainsi qu'aux femmes et aux jeunes des tribus Turkana et Samburu qui vivent à 10 heures de route de Nairobi.
