These are our running projects in 2021
Kenia
I. Provision of technical material for training sessions at the Training Center in Tuum (project supported by GAM asbl in 2014).
Year: 2021
Objective: Technically equipping the Tuum Training Center so that the local population, but also the population in more remote areas, can benefit from the training sessions effectively and efficiently. The number of beneficiaries will therefore be higher.
Direct beneficiaries: 500 people

II. 2nd phase of the "Literacy program for Samburu women"
Year: 2021
Objective: Provide women of the Samburu people with an education that will enable them to develop a family business and thus provide for the needs of their children.
Direct beneficiaries: Women from Samburu communities from the villages of Nkutuk Lmuget (from 16 km de Lodung’okue) and Nonkek (from 10 km).

Total Budget for 3 years: 15.017,38 €

A CLOSE INTERVENTION The intervention and monitoring of project leaders ensure that GAM asbl projects are perfectly suited to the needs of the population and guarantee the correct progress of the projects. |
PROUD AND COMMITTED Once the project is finished, they give the beneficiaries, individually or in local committees, the responsibility, but also the freedom, to continue with the realization of the project by themselves so they benefit from its results. |
