“Tapas y Alegría 2025”

The sixth edition of ‘Tapas y Alegría’ will take place on 14 and 15 March 2025, starting at 19.30, in the ‘Le Cercle’ hall (rue Doyen Boone, 6 - Etterbeek). This is one of the three annual events organised by GAM asbl to raise funds for its projects. Due to the great demand from the public, this is the second year in a row that we are organising two sessions, on two different days. The event features a magnificent Spanish dance show while tasting a rich variety of delicious tapas and Spanish wines. There are only a few tickets left, so hurry up and get your ticket through this booking form.

Information talks on GAM asbl

In February, we have organised several informative talks about GAM asbl, aimed at a wide variety of audiences. This is a way of publicising our work, the activities we organise to raise funds, as well as the results of the projects we carry out in different countries around the world whose sole purpose is to support the most vulnerable. Many people have heard of GAM asbl, but are not really aware of the great work it does and the scope of its actions.

We will soon be organising a training day for GAM asbl volunteers. We will keep you informed of the date.

GAM asbl 2025 project funding

During the month of January, GAM funding was sent to the 2025 projects approved by the GAM asbl Board, which met last December. The beneficiaries have already received the money, enabling them to start their projects on time.

From Parkati, for example, an inhospitable and very poor region of Kenya, we have received images of the start of construction of the community hall, co-financed by GAM asbl, an essential infrastructure for the development of the local community.

By 2025, GAM asbl will be supporting seven projects: three in Kenya, two in Bolivia, one in Ecuador and one in Cambodia. In addition, in January we successfully relaunched the 2025 school sponsorship campaign for Cambodian children.
