At the beginning of March we held the 5th meeting with our partners in the South. We met online the project leaders in the countries where we are developing the 2024 GAM projects. The aim was to find out how the projects, which are regularly monitored by GAM to ensure that their implementation is in line with the strategy and objectives of our association, as well as to confirm that the expected results are being achieved. So far, the seven 2024 projects are meeting their objectives. In June we will receive the interim report of the projects, which will contain more detailed information on their development and impact on the lives of our beneficiaries. Our school sponsorship campaign in Cambodia is continuing with great success. So far, 21 children have been sponsored, which will guarantee their schooling in 2025. We hope to complete the total number of beneficiaries in the coming weeks. Schooling for one year for each child costs €33 per month or €393 per year. Contact us for more information: info-gam@gam-asbl.com December is a month of joy and preparation for the festive season. Families get ready to meet up; some haven't seen each other for months, others even for years... Distances and difficulties give way to sharing and the precious moments of our lives. We're all doing everything in our power to ensure that the joy of our reunion shines through! GAM, too, is delighted with the achievements of this year that is coming to an end. If we share this joy with you, it's because we've touched the hearts of so many people: the training has reached children in precarious situations, young adults far from school and, above all, because the empowerment has reached groups of Samburu women in vulnerable situations, as some of us were lucky enough to witness first-hand during our humanitarian trip last summer. Finally, we are all very happy right now because you and we, together, have given a little more humanity to the world through sustainable projects. Have a great time and let the joy flow!
