VIDEO CONFERENCE WITH CAMBODIAN CHILDREN
On 1 June, GAM asbl organised a video conference with the school where the literacy and education programme for Cambodian children is being run, and with the families who are sponsoring these children’s schooling in 2026. Sister Nathalie, the project coordinator, showed us round the school premises and we were able to see the children, who were enjoying a break in the school playground at the time. This was followed by a question-and-answer session between the families and Sister Nathalie to discuss the current status of the project. This video conference is organised once a year to give our benefactors a closer insight into the lives of the children they are supporting through their efforts and generosity.

GAM ASBL BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND GENERAL MEETING 2026
​On 2 June, the first Board of Directors meeting of GAM asbl in 2026 took place, followed by the 2026 General Assembly, at which the association’s accounts were approved. In both cases, the composition of the board remains the same as before. You can view the organisational chart of GAM asbl on its website. Furthermore, a report on the current status of GAM’s projects in 2026 was presented to the Board of Directors, the results of the activities carried out to date were assessed, and plans were drawn up for the upcoming activities to be organised by the end of the year. The next Board of Directors’ meeting will take place in October 2026.

GAM BARBECUE 2026
​On Saturday 13 June 2026, the traditional GAM BARBECUE 2026 took place, one of the three major events organised by the association to raise funds for its 2027 projects. On this occasion, we were once again joined by numerous benefactors and supporters of the GAM asbl association. We all enjoyed a relaxed time together as a community and a wonderful atmosphere of solidarity. Thanks to the hard work and collaboration of our volunteers, we were able to provide an unrivalled setting to welcome all our friends of GAM asbl. See you on 14 November at the GAM 2026 ANNUAL DINNER!
