9th GAM HUMANITARIAN TRIP. DESTINATION: CAMBODIA.
From 5 to 13 August, a group of volunteers from GAM asbl carried out GAM asbl's 9th humanitarian trip which, as we had already announced, was to Cambodia (Kampong Chhnang). Several visits were made as part of GAM's literacy and training project for Cambodian children aged between 3 and 15. The meetings with the children benefiting from the project and their families were very emotional, and our volunteers were able to see that GAM's support is effective, necessary and useful. At the GAM Annual Dinner, which will take place on 8 November, we will be able to hear their testimonies, their experiences on this trip and what has impacted them most about this experience, which has undoubtedly been enriching for both parties.

SOLIDARITY MONTH 2025. INITIATIVE BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF ETTERBEEK. 
In 2025, GAM asbl will participate in Solidarity Month 2025, an important initiative organised by the Commune of Etterbeek to raise awareness of the work and results of projects carried out by organisations based in Etterbeek in favour of the most disadvantaged. GAM's activity is scheduled for 9 November 2025 and combines a talk-workshop on GAM and its projects with an information and awareness-raising stand for the association. This year's main theme will be promoting healthy eating and lifestyle habits among children and adolescents.

PROJECTS GAM 2026

In September, we will open the call for proposals for GAM projects for 2026, which will undergo an evaluation period to ensure that they comply with the strategy and objectives of GAM asbl. The selected projects will be presented to the Board of Directors at the end of the year for approval. We are also monitoring the 2025 projects, some of which have already been completed. The results of these projects will be reflected in the final report prepared by the project managers at the end of 2025.

GAM 2025 ANNUAL DINNER

On Saturday, 8 November, the GAM 2025 Annual Dinner will take place, where an evaluation of the projects carried out in 2025 and the proposals for 2026 will be presented. We will also hear the testimony of the group of volunteers who travelled to Cambodia last August. Tickets will be on sale soon. More information: [email protected]
