THE GAM EVENTS SEASON KICKS OFF: “TAPAS Y ALEGRÍA 2026”
The 6th edition of Tapas y Alegría will take place in March. This February, final preparations are underway for one of GAM’s three main events. The funds raised will go towards financing GAM’s projects in 2027. Around 100 volunteers are coming together to organise “Tapas y Alegría”, a two-day event that involves a lot of hard work and dedication, but also a great deal of enthusiasm and joy. We look forward to seeing you on 20 and 21 March to enjoy an afternoon of solidarity, culture and dance.

THE BRUSSELS 20 KM: GAM TEAM
You can register to join the GAM team and run the Brussels 20 km on behalf of GAM until mid-March. Our association has a maximum of 24 race numbers available. The Brussels Half Marathon will take place on 31 May 2026 at 10:00 am. The race starts at the Cinquantenaire Park. For more information, visit: [email protected]

GAM ASBL SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP CAMPAIGN 2026
In 2026, the school sponsorship campaign for Cambodian children continues, coordinated by GAM asbl as part of its literacy and education project for Cambodian boys and girls aged between 3 and 15. The cost of school sponsorship remains the same as in previous years: €33 per child per month, or €393 per year. In 2026, the number of pupils has doubled compared to the previous year: there are 47 children enrolled. The campaign began in January 2026 and will run until December 2026. During this period, information will be sent regarding the children’s development and progress at school. Further information: [email protected].
