PREPARATION OF THE 2027 GAM CALENDAR Throughout August, whilst we have already begun to receive some project proposals for 2027, we have been focusing on preparing and designing the GAM 2027 Calendar. This is one of GAM’s longest-running promotional items and a favourite amongst our supporters. It provides an overview of GAM’s projects and activities throughout 2026, whilst also allowing us to bring a little bit of GAM into our homes when we buy it. It makes a wonderful gift, available from mid-September, and by purchasing it, you’ll also be helping to raise funds to support GAM’s new projects for 2027.

INTERIM REPORTS ON THE GAM 2026 PROJECTSIn June/July, we received the interim reports for the 2026 GAM projects, which provide an overview of how the projects have progressed since the start of the year. We are informed of the progress made, but also of any difficulties that may have arisen during their implementation. These reports are accompanied by photographs showing the work carried out and the current status of the project. Some of them have already been completed, such as the one in Acaricuara, Colombia (the purchase and installation of a solar power system in the halls used for local community meetings and activities) and the one in Canelos, Ecuador (the refurbishment of accommodation facilities for trainers and the community leaders who are to be trained). The remaining projects are progressing well, in line with the planned schedule.
